Vanessa Ulrich is the CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) of Timeular, a startup that developed the world’s first tangible time tracking solution. The company’s vision is to help people work smart and be more productive by providing them with accurate and actionable insights into how they spend their time.

Before joining Timeular, Vanessa was heading the expansion of a successful B2C app into the German speaking markets. Additionally, Vanessa is part of the New Entrepreneurs Foundation, the UK’s leading programme for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Maria Passemard

Maria Passemard – Head of Legal Projects (Legal Operations) at John Lewis Partnership

Maria is currently Head of Legal Projects (Legal Operations) at John Lewis Partnership who has gained extensive experience advising businesses and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Maria has worked for both International and regional law firms, and in her role at John Lewis Partnership, reports directly to, and works closely with, the General Counsel on all key aspects of delivering value to the business through the Legal function.

Prior to her most recent role, Maria was Head of Employment for 14 months responsible for managing a team of 6 and being the key adviser to the Director of Personnel, Head of Employment Strategy and Reward, Chairman and the Board on a number of high profile, valuable and strategic matters including, Holiday Pay and Overtime Project, Working Time Regulations compliance issues, Large scale contractual change programmes, and senior exit and entry. Maria has worked across a number of sectors including technology, retail, financial services, and the public sector.

She is strongly commended for her enthusiasm, positivity, hard work, commercial approach, ability to form relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, flexibility and consistent delivery of results.

Brennan Jacoby

Brennan Jacoby – Trust Consultant, Faculty Member (School of Life)

Brennan Jacoby is a London-based philosopher and trust consultant helping individuals and organisations refine important questions, develop well-thought-out answers, and build better trust. While Brennan brings an analytical and creative perspective to any project he works on, he has particular expertise on the topic of trust. His doctoral research analysed trust and betrayal, and explained what it means for individuals and institutions to be trustworthy. Brennan continues to research trust and develop creative ways to help individuals, brands, and organisations that want to build better trust, respond well to broken trust, or simply understand trust more clearly.
In his capacity as a philosopher and trust consultant, Brennan has worked with a range of partners including: ARKEN, Copenhagen; John Lewis; The European Association of Communication Directors; The Museum of London; Theos Think Tank; Whole Systems Partnership; and Saracens Rugby Club. Originally from Detroit (USA), Brennan holds degrees in philosophy from Macquarie University, Sydney (Ph.D), Western Michigan University (M.A.), and Spring Arbor University (B.A.).

Jean P. O’Grady is Senior Director of Research & Knowledge Services at DLA Piper US, LLP. She has over 25 years’ experience developing strategic information initiatives for large law firms. She holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, an M.L.S. from St. John’s University and a B.A. in History from Fordham University. She has previously held Director positions at WilmerHale and Shea & Gould, and is Chair Elect of the Private Law Libraries Section of the American Association of Law Libraries and a past President of the Law Library Society of Greater New York.

Caroline Hunter-Yeats

Caroline Hunter-Yeats – Partner (Simmons & Simmons)

Caroline is a financial markets litigation specialist with a particular focus on wealth management firms and complex products sold to high net worth investors. She also regularly advises on the contentious regulatory aspects of the FCA’s product and distributor governance in the retail structured products and asset management sectors.
Caroline has been recognised in the major UK directories for a number of years and is currently ranked by Chambers UK 2015 as a leading individual in banking litigation. It notes Caroline as being regarded by sources as “absolutely first rate”. She is also listed as a “Super Lawyer” for banking in London Super Lawyers Magazine 2014.
In 2009 Caroline was seconded to the wealth management division of a major bank where she headed up their litigation function. This has given her an in-depth insight into the challenges faced by in house counsel and how external lawyers can best support them.
Caroline is responsible for the firm’s eDiscovery function. Having had over 10 years’ experience using electronic review platforms and bringing a wealth of experience in managing large scale disputes, Caroline is perfectly placed to drive the strategy of the team so that it provides the best solutions for our clients.

Christopher advises professional service firms and coaches partners and senior executives on the whole life cycle of professional development for individual and teams. He speaks regularly at conferences and has published a number of articles on leadership and organisational development (see www.cbockmann.com for details). He is also member of La Boétie Partners, a consulting and coaching firm focussing on facilitating deep transformations.
